Who were the ancient Egyptians? What would their DNA show us?
It turns out the Ancient Egyptians were not from the African continent, the Saharan region, or the Middle East, DNA studies showed they were from Anatolia or the region of Turkey, SE Europe, and Near East. There’s some DNA evidence that shows their ancient ancestors may have come out of Asia like much of the Celtic, Greek, and other cultures, ultimately.
This connects them and their strange mythology with more Western prototypes. And it easily explains their own fixation with the Sun, the underworld of the dead, water, and the same astronomical symbols shared by so many groups coming out of that region.

It seems like the roots of these cultures are all Paleolithic in origin and mixed together with the nomads of Asia with the indigenous groups living in Europe, the Mediterranean, and Ottoman Empire area, much like the Greek and Romans were in a way that spawned something bigger. The article says the Modern Egyptians today are not those same people.
It’s the brilliance of that coming together of cultures that I think made these empires. And it’s what makes America so strong today. We are the next Rome or Egypt. But like they, we too shall rise and fall. Either we figure out why or it’s not going to end well like those cultures. But we have history to teach us unlike they. That’s the difference. If our culture can value history and knowledge as it did 50 years ago – as our most precious of commodities – and value equally all cultures that have come together to make America great, we can achieve amazing things. For like the Egyptians, the melting pot of culture that is America today is what achieves amazing religious, financial, and cultural dominance globally, not monotheistic belief or the monocultural monotony that we see elsewhere around the world in places like China or Russia. Culture expands Mankind’s reaches. It does not hinder it. It’s why I believe so strongly in the power that is America.
