These are more recent sketches…..done on really nasty cheap paper. I feel a bit guilty as I need to upgrade the quality of my media here and my work. These are like most of my drawings, not true representations of the types of drawings I would closely associate with the book as much as experimental illustrations. But I am wanting to collect all these ideas so they help me gel more permanent and polished pieces later on as the book evolves. The narrative and the writing is my number one priority, not the artwork, but they are an important sideline to the work.
